1839-D Half Eagle NGC Mint State 61
This rare Dahlonega Half Eagle is the third finest we have seen. This coin exhibits very subdued original luster on the obverse and reverse. Very few marks disturb this luster. On a technical basis this coin grades higher but the grading services look for bright coins to grade higher.
